On Wednesday 8 and 15 July (7.30 pm\u201311 pm), shops will be open in the evening to coincide with the start of the \u201csales\u201d. Four bands will be performing in various locations throughout the city centre.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evening opening hours are set to begin for shops in Castelfiorentino town centre. The first event of \u201cCastelfiorentino notte\u201d, a summer initiative organised by the CCN Tre Piazze Association, is scheduled for Wednesday 8 July and will also coincide with the start of the \u201csales\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening will begin at around 7.30 pm with aperitifs and a DJ set in venues across the town centre, which will offer a wide range of food options, including outdoor seating. At the same time, the shops will be open and four bands will liven up the streets of the town centre (from Via Bovio to Corso Matteotti to Via Testaferrata) with their live performances, until around 11 pm. The second event is scheduled for Wednesday 15 July at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe evening openings on 8 and 15 July,\u201d notes Paolo Antilli, president of CCN Tre Piazze, \u201cwill be two evenings dedicated to shopping, music and socialising, with the aim of encouraging people to return to the historic centre. Shops will remain open until late in the evening, and food and drink outlets will cater for residents and visitors from aperitif time through to after dinner, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere with musical performances scattered throughout the town centre\u2019s streets. These events form part of the packed summer programme organised by local associations and the Teatro del Popolo. The aim is to ensure that, throughout July, Castelfiorentino is a vibrant town, brimming with opportunities to socialise and capable of supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, the summer sales \u2013 which start earlier and earlier every year \u2013 are taking their toll on local shops. This is why we believe it is essential to organise events that bring people into our squares and shops, offering a much-needed breath of fresh air to local businesses. And the summer won\u2019t end there: on 29 and 30 August, Castelfiorentino will host the regional final of Miss Italia, with the crowning of Miss Tuscany. It will be the grand finale of the summer season, a highly prestigious event that will attract an audience, raise our profile and give a further boost to our town centre.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn Wednesday evening,\u201d notes the Deputy Mayor responsible for Trade, Gianluca D\u2019Alessio, \u201cthe first of two evenings of extended opening hours for shops in the town centre is scheduled, featuring a number of bands performing throughout the streets of the town centre. It\u2019s an opportunity to get together, take a stroll on these warm summer evenings, have some fun and perhaps do a bit of shopping whilst taking advantage of the \u2018sales\u2019, not least to support local businesses. Our thanks go to the \u2018Tre Piazze\u2019 CCN Association, which has once again this year renewed its commitment to ensuring this summer event takes place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
