Castelfiorentino<\/strong>. It is here that the Atelier Dall’Osso<\/strong> + Materia Futuro<\/strong> opened on June 29, in collaboration with the municipal administration, 150 square meters are dedicated to the didactics of circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davide Dall’Osso<\/strong>, first actor of prose and then sculptor, and Maria Vittoria Gozio<\/strong>, graphic designer and art director, have opened the doors of their company, creating a creative studio of sculpture and design that promotes an educational and sensory journey open to all citizens and especially dedicated to classes of schools of all levels, where you can meet craftsmen, artists and companies that have made the waste the protagonist of their work, with the aim of educating and conversing with the theme of environmental sustainability, drawing new ideas and possible projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon entering, one is immediately struck by an innumerable amount of different colors and shapes, the light bounces from one element to another creating shadows and reflections on the white walls and the desire to touch and play with the iridescent variety of recycled materials placed on ‘material tables’ is overwhelming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist’s sculptures, placed in every corner of the structure, certainly do not go unnoticed, framing this dynamic environment, giving it an ever-changing look depending on where the visitor’s gaze is directed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here it is possible to admire many of the works already known to most people and on sale in different art galleries of the peninsula: Maredinotte, Lenisci, La Guerriera, Testa di Cavallo, Respiro, Persona, Ballerina, Angela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are just some of the works present there, sculptures born from the fusion of polycarbonate, enamel, bitumen and other recycled materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The horses created with the use of rods, iron wire and wire mesh that outline the physicality and strength of these animals reproduced life-size, stand in contrast to the elegance and lightness of Ventocontro, an almost imperceptible image with soft and reassuring lines, a face that we could define ethereal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist, on the occasion of the inauguration, however, presenting the works to the public, surprises. He defines them as ‘imperfect’ in his eyes and for this reason not for sale; he affirms that with time he will be able to understand what will be their place, their use or reuse, their essence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contamination of languages, which echoes throughout his artistic journey, today becomes even more impressive. In this project, which combines art, eco-sustainability and didactics through collaborations with different municipal and non-municipal realities, we understand the importance of creating spaces to educate and orient society to the preservation of the environment, drawing benefits not only ecological but also social and economic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
