His works were chosen to be included in the film directed by Alessio della Valle with a great cast: Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Emile Hirsch, Paz Vega and many others.


Thursday, September 9, 2021 on the occasion of the 78th Venice International Film Festival, was held at the Campari Boat-In Cinema the world premiere of the film American Night, directed by Alessio Della Valle and a production Martha Production, Pegasus Entertainment and QMI with RAI Cinema SpA,
a neo-noir film set in the New York contemporary art world.

The film is about Michael Rubino (Emile Hirsch) who has just become the boss of all New York mob bosses but his greatest wish is to be able to dedicate his life to painting and become a great artist. John Kaplan (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is a messy, shady art dealer but he’s also the best in the world at spotting fakes. The paths of the two, seemingly so distant, will meet at a crucial crossroads, when the theft of Warhol’s Marilyn will start a series of unexpected events that will turn their lives upside down.

On the same occasion there was the Vernissage of the group exhibition in which some of the works of the artists featured in the film were exhibited.

In American Night we also encounter the works of internationally renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, “Pink Marilyn”; Mario Schifano, “Propaganda”; Universal Everything, “Prototype 17” and Jeff Koons, “Baloon Rabbit”; Tullio Crali, “Incuneandosi nell’abitato”.
