Sunday 16 April (from 4.30 p.m., shops open) fashion shows, animated shop windows
live hairstyles and the ‘Girls Gone Wild’ show

Fashion shows, animated shop windows, ‘live’ hairstyles and an unmissable, engaging and sensual show by ‘Girls Gone Wild’. Sunday 16 April is scheduled in Castelfiorentino an afternoon dedicated to the novelties of the new spring season: “Castello Fashion Day”, a sequence of unmissable events to be discovered inside the shops or outdoors, along the streets and squares of the city centre.

Organised by the CCN ‘Tre Piazze’ association with the patronage of the municipality and in collaboration with Confesercenti, the event will take place from 4 p.m. onwards, and will feature fashion in all its forms and forms of expression: from the presentation of new collections to animated shop windows with models, from fashion shows in front of commercial activities to gastronomic events, and so on.

Among the novelties of this edition is the Girls Gone Wild show (Piazza Gramsci), sung live by three girls whose performances will be present for the first time in Tuscany. A format that has been a great success in Italy and Europe for more than ten years, inspired by the famous cult movie “coyote ugly” and the Coachella music festival in California. On stage three wonderful Cowgirls, a singer and two dancers, for a concentrate of country, pop and dance music that will entertain the whole audience present.

The event will also be attended by the photographers of the ‘Giglio Rosso’ group, who will set up stations to immortalise the people and those present throughout the day. At 6 p.m. there will be another parade in Via Garibaldi and the grand finale with aperitifs along the main streets of the centre. Finally, at the Ridotto of the Teatro del Popolo (5-7 p.m.) it will be possible to visit the exhibition with the photos of the anti-fascists of Castelfiorentino.

“Fashion Day – underlines Paolo Antilli, president of the CCN ‘Tre Piazze’ – is an event that showcases all the activities of our association and not only, a Sunday dedicated to fashion and this year with the presence of Girls gone Wild we have taken a further step forward that since the first edition has been increasingly successful thanks to the inventiveness of all the shops that I want to personally thank”.

“A wonderful initiative,” observes the Councillor for Commerce, Simone Bruchi, “that confirms the vitality of our natural shopping centre, its ability and attitude to teamwork, to ensure that each year stimulating events such as the ‘Castello Fashion Day’ are promoted and realised. It is an event that coincides with the opening of the spring season and is renewed with each edition thanks to new ideas, new proposals and the collaboration with other associations, such as the members of the Giglio Rosso Photographic Group, whom I thank for their participation. I am convinced that this year’s ‘Castello Fashion Day’ will be as popular as it deserves.
