All for lunch to support “The street of cribs”. On Sunday 9 February (1:00 p.m.), the “All’Ombra di Membrino” Association invites citizens to a lunch at the hall of Santa Maria della Marca, the proceeds of which will be used by the organisers to set up the next edition. The cost of the lunch is 20 euro and includes a menu complete with starter, first course, main course, side dish, water, wine, dessert, sparkling wine and coffee (bookings by Friday 7 February at +39 3395271770 Marco, or +39 3476301348).
An opportunity to get together and also – why not – to discuss ideas and proposals that may come from all participants. The “All’Ombra di Membrino” Association, moreover, was born from the outset as an association open to people who wish to commit themselves to the enhancement of the upper historic centre, of which ‘La Via dei Presepi’ represents one of the most important events.
Visited each year by thousands of people from all over Tuscany, “The street of cribs” has distinguished itself from the outset for the creativity and innovation of its creations, and has also pioneered a regional network (“Terre di Presepi”) of which Castelfiorentino is a founding member.
To make this event even richer, the association is willing to welcome volunteers who wish to offer some of their free time for the next edition.
