On the occasion of the 22nd edition of National Urban Trekking Day, on Friday 31st October, the Municipality of Castelfiorentino is offering an urban trekking route to discover the city.
The themes of the route are in line with those of the 2025 edition, namely “The Ways of the Jubilee, between history, culture and spirituality”; the aim is to get to know the Italian municipalities that have joined the project, from large capitals to small towns, in a sustainable way.
“A unique opportunity to experience the area slowly and consciously, transforming the walk into an experience of personal growth, connection with the landscape and dialogue between cultures”.
Participants will meet at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Tourist Information Office, next to the railway station. The route will wind through the streets of the upper and lower historic centres, ending at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the Pieve dei Ss. Ippolito e Biagio. The difficulty level is low.
