Raccont’Arti Prize
Exhibition of the works produced for the 2024 edition of the prestigious “Raccont’Arti. Castelfiorentino Prize for the Arts”.
The winning works will also be on display, “Battle Royale” by Federica Sasso for the Open category and “Terra di diatomee” by Gaia Maggio for the Student category.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Christmas market exhibition
A classic Christmas event, the Christmas market organised by Senza Barriere onlus.
Many beautiful things made entirely by hand by the guests of the day care centres; small and large solidarity gifts to be made with the heart.
Open until Tuesday 31 December, both morning and afternoon.

Recital – Special New Year’s Eve
Aringa and Verdurini together, a historic duo with thirty years of experience. Music, comedy that comes from the deep and deeply makes laugh thrill and sometimes even move. Because comedy is a serious thing, very serious if done with talent and professionalism, energy and rigour: what in these years the former Aringa e Verdurini alias Maria Cassi and Leonardo Brizzi have continued to carry on always firmly believing in the importance of good theatre and good music.
At the end of the show, a toast will be made to welcome the new year.

New Year’s concert
A hymn to good fortune, which may also be a good omen for the New Year. It is with this spirit that the Philharmonic “G. Verdi” will perform a selection of songs taken from “Carmina Burana”, masterpiece by Carl Orff, as part of the New Year’s Concert scheduled for Wednesday 1 January 2025 at the Teatro del Popolo in Castelfiorentino.
An event that will also feature the Castellano Opera Choir and the White Voices Choir of the Orpheus Association, which after the music of Strauss and Verdi will accompany the pieces of the famous opera by the German composer, Focused precisely on the luck that turns like a wheel, empress of the world and symbol of fate, sometimes ironic and benevolent, other times mocking and cruel, to which the human being is subjected.

Sonic 3, a film directed by Jee Fowler, is the third chapter focusing on the blue, hedgehog-like alien with the power of super speed. In this third chapter, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails are faced with a formidable new foe: Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers never seen before. With their skills tested in every way, Team Sonic must seek an unexpected alliance to stop Shadow and protect the planet.

In the film Cortina Express, Lucio De Roberti (Christian De Sica), an irresistible middle-aged viveur, goes to Cortina D’Ampezzo to save his nephew from a disastrous marriage with the daughter of the wicked Patrizia Giordano (Isabella Ferrari), a volcanic record company with a succubus husband (Marco Mazzocca in the shoes of Aristide) and struggling with the risk of bankruptcy. So much that she has already ready a contract for Dino Doni (Lillo), a musical artist of the past who has always loved her and is now looking for ransom taking over, without knowing it, all debts.

Cribs 2010-2024
A photographic exhibition presenting the best shots of the cribs featured in “The street of cribs”, from the first edition to the present day.
The photos were taken by the Giglio Rosso photography group, which opens the doors of its vast archive for the occasion.
The exhibition can be visited on Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Fridays 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Place: Oratorio San Carlo, via Testaferrata.

The Street of Cribs
Fourteenth edition featuring artistic and handcrafted nativity scenes created by local crib makers, together with works created by the children of the Istituto comprensivo and the city’s parish preschools. There will also be special creations made with the patchwork technique or using terracotta.
Not to be missed are the classic Luminous and Metereological nativity scenes.
Open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Closed on 31 December.

Banksy. Birth of a Myth
Through a hundred or so works, documents, archive materials and their relationships, the temporary exhibition explores the main junctions of the Banksy Myth, philologically reconstructing the artist’s path from 1998 to 2009.
