The first event in the series of meetings as part of the “Alleanza” project will take place on Monday, September 22. The final performance will be on Saturday, September 27. Registration is still open.
The first event in a series of free practical workshops on movement, open to all and curated by Virgilio Sieni, entitled “Alleanza”, will begin on Monday, September 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Be.Go. Museum in Castelfiorentino. The workshops will take place from Monday, September 22, to Friday, September 26, every evening from 6pm to 9pm and will conclude with a final performance scheduled for Saturday 27 September (7pm).
Registration is still open and is open to all citizens (aged 12 and over), performers and creatives, families, mothers and daughters/sons, fathers and daughters/sons who are interested in learning about body language through a series of movement exercises.
Participants will be involved in creating choreographed actions that arise from their perception of beauty in the form of alliance.
Virgilio Sieni, Italian dancer and choreographer, internationally active artist, currently directs the National Dance Production Center in Florence, and is the promoter of this series of meetings at the Be.Go Museum.
The “Alleanza” project is part of Scollinare – Officine del Gesto / Piccoli Musei 2025, conceived and developed for the metropolitan area of Florence, which revolves around the issue of visiting and learning about cultural heritage and explores the different ways of inhabiting and experiencing museum spaces.
For the project to be successful, participation in all rehearsals and the final performance is required.
