From September 2 to 12 (sports area) concerts, cabaret shows, street food and amusement park. At the center of the review the beer, present with a dozen labels craft.
“The mugs up”. The countdown has begun for the traditional cry that accompanies the Beer Festival, a festival that in Castelfiorentino is now in its second edition and that this year will take place in the sports area (Viale Roosevelt) from 2 to 12 September: eleven non-stop evenings of concerts, cabaret and magic shows, street food and funfairs, which will delight people of all ages, young people, young people and adults.
At the center of the festival will obviously be the beer, present every night with ten German craft labels, including 4 on tap and 6 in bottle or can.
Every evening there will also be twelve stands for street food, a craft market (from costume jewellery to vintage and collectibles) and a fun fair, with the inevitable “inflatable” for children and other rides for teenagers and adults. The opening of the stands is scheduled from 18.00 onwards (from 12.00 on Sunday).
Every evening, finally, there will be a different show. It begins Thursday, September 2 with the concert “Killer Queen“, a tribute band of the legendary Queen. Followed on Friday, September 3 with “Rock in Movie” film party band, and Saturday 4 the “Mamamia official tour”.
Sunday, September 5 a double event: a puppet show (by the Theatre of the Twelve Moons) and the concert “Jackson One”, a Michael Jackson tribute band. Monday, September 6 an evening of great laughter with Alessandro Paci, who will perform an unmissable cabaret. Tuesday, September 7 “Rock night” with “Brain Shake” (AC/DC tribute band) and “Night Train” (Guns N’Roses tribute band). Wednesday 8 presentation of the Castelfiorentino soccer teams (from the youth teams to the first team) followed by the concert “Indieitaly night”: special guest Cannella, and then Manfri, Mazzariello and Danu, the latter a boy from Castelfiorentino. Thursday 9 “La combriccola del blasco”, tribute band Vasco Rossi and Friday 10 the “Circo Nero”.
Saturday 11 a magic show of the Magician Magori, “Acoustic Maison” (from 20.30) and Mamalover, party band 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000. Final Sunday 12 with “Planet Zero”, tribute band Renato Zero”.
The Castelfiorentino Beer Festival is organized by the Pro Loco under the patronage of the Municipality of Castelfiorentino, and the contribution of some thirty sponsors including Banca di Cambiano (main sponsor), Zeloagency (media partner), Jolly Service, Mb Car, Euro Car, General Construction, Masterelectric, Autospurgo Valdelsa.
“It’s been another very difficult year – emphasize the members of the team that oversaw the organization of the event, composed of Emanuele Mazzoni, Enrico Ticciati and Luca Canaj – and it was only right to try to give a signal for a gradual return to normality, naturally with all the attention that is required at the time.”
“The first edition of the Festival – notes the Mayor, Alessio Falorni – was made in 2019, while last year was skipped for the reasons we know. It is an event that two years ago was a great success, and that is why it is proposed again as one of the most important events that accompany the conclusion of the summer season, thanks to the valuable efforts of Emanuele, Enrico and Luca who have worked hard to make it come to life. I hope it can be a celebration for all citizens and also a factor of attraction for tourists in our area.
To encourage the reuse of the same glass, the organizers will provide a special glass holder pocket, while ALIA will place a series of “recycling points” for the separate collection of waste. The event will be held in full compliance with the regulations anticovid in force (green pass required).
