CastelloFobico, when fear comes from other worlds!
Sunday, October 31, 2021 (from 17.00 onwards) flash mob “CastelloFobico” in the historic center of Castelfiorentino, with vampires, zombies, ghosts, mentally ill, possessed spirits
Zombies and Ghosts, Vampires and Mentally Ill, Possessed Spirits: for an evening of fear. This is the business card of “CastelloFobico” (“when fear comes from other worlds”) flash mob that will affect the historic center of Castelfiorentino Sunday, October 31, 2021, on the occasion of Halloween.
Organized by Trivia Aps under the patronage of the Municipality of Castelfiorentino, the event will kick off at 17.00 in the lower historical center, when children will be able to have fun going around the stores displaying the logo of “Castellofobia” asking the question: “Trick or treat?”, and collect the treat from the shopkeeper, while fantastic characters (witches, etc..) will suddenly appear to tell chilling stories.
At 18.30 will begin the Flash Mob “CastelloFobico” in the upper part of the country, where the nightmare, terror and fear will be represented by five different worlds: the “Gothic World” (via Tilli) where you can run into vampires and “undead”, the “Zombie World” (via Adimari), the “Psychiatric World” where fear is the result of madness (Piazza del Popolo and via Ferruccio), the “Spiritual World” of the possessed spirits (Via Terino). The departure of the flash mob is at the “grande Leccio” while the arrival point is at the Arch of “La Costa”.
The evening will take place in full compliance with all anticovid regulations in force for open spaces.
“We are particularly loaded – notes the president of Trivia Aps, Michele Cucchiara – because this edition of CastelloFobia, a bit ‘different because of the moment we are living, however, will be in tune with that winning format for which it has been increasingly appreciated in recent years. We therefore invite citizens to follow it, perhaps joining us with a disguise “theme”. I take this opportunity to thank the many people who have collaborated in this edition, such as Ilaria Monzitta (vice-president of Trivia), Alessandra Minucci, Alessandra Bianchi, Graziella Coco (who has been in charge of CastelloFobia since the beginning), and Ilaria Monfardini (Horror expert).”
“Once again this year – underlines the Mayor, Alessio Falorni – one of the events that confirms the great creative force of the young people of Castelfiorentino, who have been able to ignite a growing interest around an event that has now strongly entered into our agenda and into the expectations of many children, who perhaps take advantage of it to dress up and have fun together with their parents or grandparents. I therefore thank all those who in various capacities, have contributed to make it grow, starting from Michele Cucchiara, his precious collaborators, and the other associations that have collaborated in this edition. I invite all citizens and children to take a tour of the center to participate in the first place to “Trick or Treat” and then to enjoy the beauty of these representations”.
