On Sunday 24 May, meet at Piazza Gramsci for a scenic drive through the Valdelsa hills. The event is organised by the “Amici di Castello” and Camet (Tuscan Vintage Car and Motorcycle Club).

Around thirty-five classic cars are expected to take part in the 10th “Per la Via Francigena” Rally, scheduled to take place in Castelfiorentino on Sunday 24 May. Registration closed a few weeks ago as the maximum capacity for the event had been reached; it therefore promises to be a major event for enthusiasts and anyone wishing to revisit, with a touch of nostalgia, the car models they may have owned or admired in the distant past.

The programme for the event, organised by the “Amici di Castello” Association and the Club Auto Moto d’Epoca Toscano (Camet) under the patronage of Castelfiorentino Town Council (sponsored by Ente Cambiano spca), includes a gathering in Piazza Gramsci at 9.00 am, where all the cars will remain on display for around an hour. Meanwhile, all participants will be registered at the Caffè del Teatro.

At 10.00 am, the tour is scheduled to set off on a scenic drive through the Valdelsa hills, heading towards Certaldo, Sciano, Petrognano, Semifonte (stop for a visit), Poneta, Vico d’Elsa, Zambra (Industrial Estate, where there will also be a skills test valid for the 2026 Camet Club Championship), Certaldo and Castelfiorentino.

Lunch is scheduled for 12.30 pm at the restaurant “Gli Scugnizzi”, where the awards ceremony will take place once the meal has finished.
