From Friday 25 to Sunady 27 September, the quintessential autumn festival returns, once again centred on the Via Francigena and Castelnuovo dβElsa, featuring walks, theatre, poetry, games, music and excellent food β a collective endeavour born of the fruitful collaboration between local authorities and associations, creating a community-focused event that fosters a sense of togetherness and is a major draw for tourists.

πΈοΈ οΈοΈFriday kicks off the festivities in earnest, with a Poetry Reading at the Chapel of the Madonna della Tosse, an Aperitif with a buffet at Coiano Castle and the first sacred music Concert in the reopened Coiano Parish Church, which will also be open on the following mornings
πΈοΈ12 walks to discover or rediscover the Via Francigena and the village of Castelnuovo dβElsa (with the involvement of local schools and the “La Ginestra” day centre)
πΈοΈ Saturdayβs Theatre Night, Theatre Afternoon on Sunday, a Theatre – Trekking, a poetry reading and a paleo-show for an authentic cultural experience, telling the story of our city and our history
