A month of football in Castelfiorentino. This is the calling card of “ToCa Village”, an acronym standing for “Torneo Castellano”, which from 15 June to 10 July (from 9.00 p.m.) will light up the “Riccardo Neri” Municipal Stadium in Castelfiorentino with a 7-a-side football tournament, offering a varied and engaging programme for both participants and spectators.
An event dedicated to sport and its values, therefore, open to all young people from the Empolese Valdelsa area who wish to spend their free time in a healthy way, positioning itself as a key fixture in the Tuscan summer events calendar.
Founded in 2018 by three young men from Castelfiorentino (Lorenzo Pratelli, Alessio Nuraj and Anuar Zahouani), “ToCa Village” has grown in recent years and, in 2026, also launched a partnership with “Bomber Cup”, a brand linked to the world of football founded by Christian Vieri.
Sixteen teams from across the Valdelsa region (Castelfiorentino, Certaldo, Montaione, Gambassi, Montespertoli and Poggibonsi) will take part in the 7-a-side football tournament (“ToCa Football”), making it one of the summer’s most popular sporting events. Such a wide range of participants raises the standard of the competition and establishes the tournament as a real highlight in the local area.
A food area serving food and drinks will be available for the entire duration of “ToCa Village”.
“Sport and community,” emphasises the Councillor for Sport, Gianluca D’Alessio, “are the strengths of ToCa Village, which came about thanks to the initiative and enthusiasm of three young people from Castelfiorentino, later supported by a capable team that enabled its development and growth. An event that celebrates sport and, above all, its values of participation, socialising, relationships and fun. An event to be experienced on warm summer evenings”.
