Celebration of National Unity Day and the armed forces.
Meeting in Piazza Gramsci and then departure for the hamlets of Castelfiorentino for the laying of commemorative laurel wreaths, homage to the Unknown Soldier and celebration of the suffrage mass at the Church of Santa Verdiana.
In the afternoon, laying of laurel wreaths at the symbolic sites of Castelfiorentino and at the War Memorial. Performance by the “G. Verdi” Philharmonic.
Place: Castelfiorentino, main town and hamlets.

Monday 4 November at 9:15 p.m.
Cinema rediscovered
Cycle of meetings and analysis dedicated to Krzysztof Kieslowski’s “The Decalogue”, curated by Jaures Baldeschi and Lorenzo Di Falco.
Ten medium-length films themed on the Ten Commandments.
First evening dedicated to “I am thy Lord” followed by “Thou shalt not take the name of God in vain”.

Gli Anti -Marcia
Presentation of the book “Gli Anti – Marcia. I castellani che dissero NO al Fascismo”, edited by Alessandro Spinelli and Marco Mangini. About one hundred and twenty biographies, accompanied by unpublished photos and documents, of the anti-fascists of Castelfiorentino. Ordinary people: workers, labourers, artisans who from the very beginning said “NO” to the movement founded by Mussolini.
