Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August: a music and food event organised by the TNT Biker Group (Castelfiorentino MotoClub branch), in partnership with Germi Tuscany.

There’ll even be Bar Necchi and the “Sottocuoco” stall – run by the legendary Giovannone – adding a touch of irreverence and light-hearted fun to the Castelfiorentino Bikers’ Festival, which, inspired by the famous film “Amici Miei”, will take place on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August in the stadium area on Viale Roosevelt.

Over 300 bikers are expected from all over Italy for this new edition of the festival, which has proved a great success in previous years.

Organised by the TNT Biker Group (Castelfiorentino MotoClub section) as part of the second edition of the twinning with Germi Tuscany (a motorcycling club from Piombino), this musical and gastronomic event will kick off on Friday afternoon (around 5.00 pm) when all the food stalls open, continuing until late in the evening: from sandwiches (hot dogs, sausages, burgers) to pasta dishes, from Florentine steak (a TNT speciality) to boiled octopus (a Germi Tuscany speciality), as well as, of course, drinks (beer galore). There’ll be no shortage of the so-called “rinforzini” to stay true to the “theme” chosen for this year’s event.

On Saturday 29 August, the festival will run all day, and bikers (who can stay at partner accommodation) will have the chance to make the most of it by going on a few sightseeing trips in the surrounding area on their own. The “Bikers” group has always taken pride in its identity: its members love to stand out – each with their own “nickname”, almost as if to suggest a particular attitude, their physical appearance, or perhaps an aspect of their character.

“The Bikers’ Festival,” said Deputy Mayor Gianluca D’Alessio, “has always been a much-loved event for motorbike enthusiasts, who take part in these gatherings to meet up, socialise and share carefree moments of genuine joy. For Castelfiorentino, it is also a valuable showcase to introduce visitors – including those from outside the region – to the beauty of our artistic and natural heritage. I would therefore like to thank the organisers of this festival, which this year takes place over two days and has therefore required an extra amount of effort – something that is by no means to be taken for granted – further confirming the vitality of the community spirit in our area.”
