Yesterday there was a big celebration at the “EMD Ciapetti” Nursing Home with her son and grandchildren, in the company of Councilwoman Parisi and with best wishes from Mayor Giannì
One hundred years old and still going strong, one might say. A beautiful “three-digit” cake marked the milestone reached by the newly minted centenarian Gina Marini, who celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday at the EMD Ciapetti Nursing Home with her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Representing the municipal administration was Councilor for Social and Health Policies, Federica Parisi.
Mayor Francesca Giannì also congratulated Gina, sending her a message of best wishes: “Reaching the milestone of 100 years,” the Mayor noted, “is an extraordinary privilege—an anniversary that embodies a century of history, memories, loved ones, and experiences. On behalf of myself and the entire administration, I would like to extend my most sincere best wishes to you on this very special day. Your century of life stands as a precious testament to the changing times and, at the same time, to those values and bonds that transcend generations.”
