Only a few days remain for the start of one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer season. From Wednesday 4 to Sunday 15 September, Castelfiorentino will host the 5th edition of the “Festa della Birra Castellana” (Stadium area – viale Roosevelt), during which every evening it will be possible to attend a live music concert and cabaret shows, enjoy the various attractions of the Luna Park, and consume delicacies of all kinds (“street food” area) accompanied, as usual, by a wide selection of craft beers.
Admission to all concerts and shows is completely free.
The festival – which is organised thanks to the support of numerous sponsors in the area and enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Castelfiorentino – will kick off on Wednesday 4 September (6:00 p.m.) with the opening of the food area, the luna park (with numerous attractions for adults and children) and the market, while the first music and cabaret events will be in the evening (from 9:00 p.m.) with the comedy duo “I Panpers”, the concert “Auch” and finally the DJ Set by Lorenzo Fiaschi.
There is a wide range of food on offer: from fried fish to paella, from arrosticini to hamburgers and fries, from chicken wings to sausages and hot dogs, from stuffed pinse and coccole to olive all’ascolana and potato tortel. There will be no shortage of desserts: donuts and doughnuts, crepes with Nutella and so on. Lastly, craft beers, on tap or in cans, as befits the identity of the event, which has now taken on the appearance of a true “Festival”.
An evening full of music and fun is set for Thursday 5 September with “Ex Otago” and their overwhelming energy, alternated by the performance of “Danu”, with his emotionally charged songs. On Friday 6 September,”Metempsicosi” and their unmistakable sound, followed by the “Piko and Deso” DJ set, while on Saturday 7 there will be a trio of unmissable events: Rosa Chemical, the musical phenomenon of the moment, “Mamamia on tour”, an explosive mix of music, dance and entertainment, and finally the “Tommago” magic show, which will ignite the dreams and imagination of young and old alike.
A Sunday of pure entertainment is scheduled for 8 September when the festival will welcome Jerry Calà, who will entertain the public with his songs, and the travelling LED and fire show, while on Monday 9 “Trimad”, for a concert full of energy, and “Ragnaloni Taskavota” will take the stage. Tuesday 10 “Bego night”, an evening with the five emerging artists of the Bego Music Academy. This is followed on Wednesday 11 by “Indie power”, “Lorenz” and the band “Steenfies”, and again on Thursday 12 by the concert of Italian rapper “Nitro” and the DJ set “Push”. On Friday 13 the event with “Fuego” who will bring his explosive rhythm of trap and hiphop sounds to the stage, while on Saturday 14 September a journey into the past with “Voglio tornare negli anni 90”, an unforgettable evening with the most famous songs that have punctuated the dances of entire generations and a travelling LED and fire show. The finale on Sunday 15 September with “Tommago” (magic show), DJ set “Theo”, singer Lorenz, and finally “I Gemelli diversi”, to sing a final goodbye to the next edition.
